1.) Some Montreal fans (some, not all) set up a javascript function to vote for the Habs even when they are not at their computers. That would explain why the Canadiens have hundreds of thousands of more votes than everyone else on the face of the earth. What that doesn't explain is why Sergei Gonchar is so high up in votes. Listen to me people: He can't play so use your votes on someone who can. No disrespect to Gonchar but the guy is injured hasn't played a game all year.
Now back to the javascript problem. My suggestion to the NHL start the voting over. We are only three days in and it will be more fair. You know what they will say to me: "Well guess what Clare, life's not fair so deal with it." So I will because at the end of the day I really don't care. Plus I think the NHL has bigger problems to deal with.
ETA on 11/16 I can't believe I forgot to add Ryan Whitney to that but he is in the same category as Gonchar. That was my mistake.
2.) The Blackhawks need to stop losing games in overtime. I understand that at least they get a point but that doesn't matter I want two points and I will not be denied.
3.) If you need a laugh you can watch the completely ridiculous video on the Blackhawks website.
4.) Barry Melrose got fired and all I can say is YAY!
5.) If don't know if any of you remember in August when I mentioned that the comments page looked very small on my computer. Well, it continued until a few days ago when I clicked on the comments page on My Safety is Harvard and much to my surprise the comment font was back to normal size. I don't know what happened but I think that I liked the smaller font better oddly enough.
6.) I was on TSN the yesterday afternoon and saw this. I wondered to myself why they didn't just say that he had an undisclosed injury.

Thank you. I'm torn too because I really like Byfuglien and I watch a lot of Washington games and Nylander hasn't blown me away in the games he has played in. Then again I do think this team needs another veteran.

It's ok. The NHL put him on there you have every right to vote for him. Anyways, from the looks of the starting lineups right now it is going to look like a Montreal/ Detroit game.
