- The Blackhawks game against the Capitals on October 11. It may have been because I was there and the crowd was absolutely electric. Granted that was a 4-2 game and the Blackhawks didn't play that well during it but it was an exciting game.
- The other game that was genuinely exciting was Tuesday the Lightning vs. Leafs. It was a 3-2 final and the game was exciting because both teams had some great chances but they also failed to score on a lot of them. It made the game more exciting because it wasn't just all goals there was more to the game than that.
I am not advocating for 1-0 games especially in OT because those can get pretty dull but I like lower scoring games. What do you think?

You know I am sort of mad at the Blackhawks, because on their website they have this picture of Jonathan Towes and Pat Kane in the WC jerseys and it says "GET YOURS TODAY" but to my surprise/disappointment, they meant the JERSEYS and not Towes or Kane.:(
Really they should have specified that before I got my hopes up:(
I think that more scoring doesn't necessarily make for exciting hockey. More scoring chances and end-to-end action with few interruptions is exciting. Big hits, great saves, and fights are exciting. Scoring is nice, but it's not the only thing that makes hockey exciting. Unfortunately, Bettman comes from a basketball background and probably doesn't understand this.

You really have issues with the website don't you.

I completely agree with everything you said. Especially the part about Bettman. I swear he won't be happy until they eliminate goalies entirely.
